Nestled in the heart of the village’s historic center, the property is a double farmhouse that has been restored and decorated while preserving the spirit of its era. Upon arriving in the charming town of Le Vaudoué, you’ll find plenty of parking spaces near the property. Step through the gate and past the stone wall to discover the house and its garden. Your vacation can begin! You enter your home through a foyer that opens onto a spacious, light-filled living room where nature streams in through the many windows. An artistic world reigns here—art in all its forms and the art of living: welcome to Les Étoiles du Vaudoué. As you enter the house, you’ll be charmed by its exposed beams, weathered wood, and terracotta floor tiles, which blend beautifully with contemporary art and music. The spacious layout features a living area with a wood-burning stove facing two sofas. Please take special care of the piano that takes pride of place in the room. The large, fully equipped kitchen and its bar, which seats four, feature a refrigerator-freezer, a 3-burner induction cooktop, a conventional oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and all the essential small appliances such as a Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, and kettle—not to mention, of course, the dishes and kitchen utensils to turn your meals into delightful culinary experiences. You’ll find a flat-screen TV here. The light-filled dining area, with its rustic ambiance, seats 8 people around a large table. A restroom is located on the first floor. The sleeping area is divided into two sections: A first flight of stairs leads to a landing that opens onto a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a desk area overlooking the garden, and a flat-screen TV, followed by a second bedroom facing the garden with one 90×190 single bed and a convertible bed for a child (70×190). The upper floor features a bathroom with a bathtub, a single sink, and a toilet. A second staircase, located past the artist’s studio, leads to the house’s third bedroom, which features a queen-size bed and a work area. A restroom is available on this side of the house. Special care is taken with the quality of the linens and housekeeping, which meet hotel standards for absolute comfort. But don’t forget that you’re in the countryside—here, nature reigns supreme, and spiders spin their webs. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi. Of course, Les Étoiles du Vaudoué also features a garden and a south-facing paved terrace, both furnished with everything you need to enjoy the mild, sunny days. Finally, for extended stays, a washing machine is available for your use. What’s provided: bed sheets and linens, 1 bath towel per person, shower mat, dish towels, starter kit: dish soap, double-sided dishcloth, 3 dishwasher tablets, 1 cleaning product, 2 rolls of toilet paper per restroom, salt/pepper/oil/vinegar. You have private access through the main entrance door on the street side. Please note that the owners’ personal belongings are stored in the house’s closets. You will have access to all open areas and their amenities. The artist’s studio is a walk-through room where you may not stay. Private rooms are either locked or marked with a “Private” sign. Upon your arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome from La Conciergerie de Nadège :) Nadège and her team have taken care to prepare your accommodation “hotel-style” and in accordance with sustainable practices. They’ll be available throughout your stay if you need anything and can recommend great places to visit. Contact information for La Conciergerie de Nadège will be available in your accommodation. You can use Airbnb messaging, text messages, and the phone in case of an emergency. La Conciergerie de Nadège is located at 21 Avenue de Ganay in Milly-la-Forêt. To confirm your reservation, you must agree to the house rules as well as the check-in and check-out instructions. You’ll be staying in the home of Andrea and Jean-Paul, who have entrusted Nadège and her team with welcoming you and organizing your stay. The Gîte Les Etoiles du Vaudoué promotes sustainable practices :) and a cozy, relaxing experience for its guests! We need a few details to ensure everything goes smoothly… thank you in advance for your understanding: Check-in and key pickup will take place at Nadège’s Conciergerie in Milly-la-Forêt between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, or you may check in on your own after that time. Please let us know your arrival time as soon as possible and notify us if you’re running late on the day of your arrival. This helps us welcome you in the best possible way. Before your arrival, we’ll send you your welcome booklet, which is full of useful information about your accommodation and recommends great local spots :) The inventory of the property is included in the welcome booklet.
