This newly renovated, traditional Swedish house is located in the middle of a quiet forest right next to a lake. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the Swedish summer, with long walks, swimming in the lake, lovely evenings, and day trips. During the colder months, it’s ideal for sitting by the fireplace, enjoying the snow, or cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy a family vacation, a couples’ getaway, work from home, or simply relax.
The Accommodation
The house, newly redesigned in the summer of 2022, features a large bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200 cm) and a workspace, a bedroom with two single beds, a cozy living room, a dining room with panoramic views, a fully equipped kitchen, and 1.5 bathrooms, including a rain shower.

The spacious bedroom with a king-size bed offers ample storage space for clothes as well as views of the forest and the lake. It also features a desk and a reading chair. The room has a welcoming and bright atmosphere, making it perfect for relaxation.

The second bedroom is very cozy, also sleeps two, and has plenty of storage space for suitcases and clothes. You’re guaranteed to feel right at home here.

Both bedrooms are equipped with wireless charging pads for your cell phone.

The extremely well-equipped kitchen has everything a cook could want. It features a four-burner induction stove, an oven, a coffee maker, a blender, a toaster, a tea kettle, baking pans, cooking utensils, and dishes. Of course, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, coffee, and tea are provided.

The cozy living room features a fireplace and a large sofa—perfect for relaxing.

The bright dining area with panoramic windows is perfect for long conversations, social evenings, or a typical Swedish “fika.”

The spacious and uniquely designed bathroom features a large rain shower with toiletries. Feel free to use the washing machine in the second bathroom.

Surrounding the house is a large garden with a spacious, covered patio featuring a table and chairs, as well as a large lounge area with cushions. The terrace is equipped with a large mosquito net, making it a particularly cozy spot in the summer.

A short path leads from the house to a secluded cove on the large lake. If you’d like to swim here or in the ocean, we’ll provide you with towels.

Additional important information
There is a parking space for your car on the property. We recommend traveling by car, as the house is not connected to the public transportation network. Please note that the last 200 meters of the road are a gravel path, which may be muddy or overgrown depending on the weather and season, but is always passable for all types of cars.

Two single-person kayaks for the lake are available upon request for an additional fee of 1,500 SEK per week.
