Sun Mountain Hostel

The owners accepted us at 2am and we were very relieved to not have to spend the night in the streets. Our bus from Sapa arrived at Tam Coc at 1am and Sun Mountain Hostel was the only accommodation that was open at 1 in the morning. They were very friendly and helpful. We shared the room with 10 other people but it was quiet as majority were sleeping already. The beds were clean. Toilet and bathrooms were also clean and they also have hot shower. We even had free breakfast which was good. I highly recommend this hostel for those travelling on a budget or for those who do not have a place to sleep in the middle of the night at Tam Coc/Tran an.

The location is at the feet of a mountain with restaurant seating actually in the mountain. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and travel booking.

Teenagers staying next door talking and making noise until 4am
