We did not have breakfast during our stay. The location is extremely central, with restaurants, shops and amenities within easy walking distance. However, being directly on the main street means there is considerable traffic and restaurant noise, particularly early in the morning and late at night. The biggest issue was the noise. Traffic on the main street starts very early, around 4:40 am, and the restaurant next door can be noisy late at night. With very little soundproofing and a playground at the back, both bedrooms were affected, which made sleeping particularly difficult with a toddler.

We were welcomed with open arms (literally) by the most amazing host! The apartment was modern and beautifully decorated, immaculate and clean, it had everything we could possibly need and every little detail had been carefully thought out, including the hot water bottles! The location was central and perfect for our weekend stay.

Nothing!

A wonderful stay at Dorpshuis. Lynn was a lovely host and very receptive to any queries or issues we had. Beautiful, clean apartment and perfect for our stay in Paarl. Thank you.
