This stay was the highlight of my whole Bali trip. The accommodation is incredible, in such a beautiful, peaceful spot. It has everything you could need for a longer stay (I stayed a week), with the fully equipped kitchen, beautiful indoor-outdoor bathroom, spacious bedroom, outdoor bath in the lovely garden, and lovely porch for listening to the jungle sounds. The hosts were amazing. Sumi was so helpful and generous with his time - he took me to the local market to buy fresh produce for my stay; helped me with a visit to a local healer, translating for us and helping me with the cleansing ritual the healer prescribed; invited me to join the community at the ceremony to cleanse their new temple - an incredible experience I will never forget; and invited me into their home for coffee when we bumped into each other in the village. This is a truly special stay, in a very special area, with amazing hosts, and incredible value for money. I could not recommend this villa and its lovely hosts enough.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this villa! It was beautifully equipped, with every detail thought of—from the stylish décor to the serene private bath. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a magical place, and we’d love to return!

The only tiny note is that the neighborhood is quite lively—there are roosters and some dogs nearby that can be heard at night. If you’re a deep sleeper, you might not even notice!

The location is perfect for a getaway and healing, with greenness and fresh air—really comforting!

There are pig farms in the neighborhood; as I am quite sensitive to smell, I can smell it from far away. While this is out of your control, perhaps you could plant more lemongrass and pandan to cover the area and help with the smell.
