I booked this room for a business trip. The room was really very clean, carpets were in very good condition, looked like new really, bathroom all very clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was nice and warm. Communication with owner was smooth and fast too. My conference was in ICC and the room was only 10 minutes straight drive to and forth, also walking distance from railway station. Great value for money too. This was a place I will definitely came back for my next trip to Wales/Newport. Thank you

The owner was friendly and excellent with communication - getting in touch prior to arrival to ensure a smooth check-in and was flexible with check-in/out timings. The room was clean, well-fitted and very comfortable, with extra pillows and a great private bathroom. The area was also very quiet, even on a Saturday night.
It was a little hot in the room with the radiators running through the night (we may have also missed the thermostat as we were back fairly late), but there was a large fan provided and it was quiet enough to open the windows so not an issue.

Loved the easy central location, bed was very comfortable, easy to heat the room to a nice cosy temperature, curtains blacked out the room well, little kettle tray was well stocked, bathroom was clean, TV was a nice bonus too! Will definitely stay again if need arises.
Nothing wrong with the room itself at all.
The tap in the adjacent bathroom was a push function one and the water sprayed out so fast it soaked my pyjama top/bathroom floor. The lock may also want some WD40 or similar as it was a bit rusty and difficult to lock/unlock in a smooth motion.
It would have been nice to have a second bottle of water/larger bottle and a glass tumbler in the room as the one bottle that was there was just enough to fill the kettle to the bottom line.

The location was good with a short walk to the station and easily accessible by car with limited parking spots. The rooms were spacious.
On our visit the bed was broken, but could have easily been missed. The bathrooms are shared which isn't ideal, but yet again this was a good stay on a budget.
