Popeye’s is a beautiful house with quick beach access. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked, and the layout worked well for my family. However, there were some areas for improvement given the price point of this rental. There was an ant problem by the pool resulting in a lot of bug bites. The chairs by the pool were all split in the seat which is a potential safety issue. The stools at the kitchen island were unusable because they are too high. There were no dressers to put clothes in. I have never had to bring hangers for my clothing for any other rental. Also, the listing says oven view but this is only from the third floor bedroom windows. Overall the stay was good with some great memories of Kure Beach.

Super nice, confortable house. Really enjoyed our stay with our fam super relax weekend. Will definitely re-book.

This property is one of the best I've stayed in. The weather was weather was too cool to enjoy the pool at this time.

Our stay was just okay, and the property could use some attention. The kitchen counter stools are impractical, with only about three inches of space between the stools and the counter. There is also no coffee table, side table, or any other surface in the living room, which made it inconvenient—especially since this is the only area large enough for everyone to gather. The couches are quite lumpy and uncomfortable, adding to the challenge of using this shared space. Given that this is a six-bedroom home, it would benefit greatly from more appropriate and comfortable furnishings.Additionally, the living and dining area lights turned themselves off every night around 10:30 pm, which was frustrating. Most of these issues are easily fixable, and I hope the owners address them. This property has a lot of potential. The location is great, the pool is nice, and parking is sufficient. With a few improvements, this could be a much better and more enjoyable place to stay.
