3 bedrooms, sleeps 6. Benview house is a well presented, homely cottage, which is attached to the owner's home, and located just a short walk from the centre of Roundstone Village. Perfect for couples, friends, and families to share. Here you can explore Roundstone village and continue to Roundstone's famous white sandy beaches at Gurteen and Dogs Bay. Roundstone village provides ample choice of places to eat and drink, and its shops will supply you with everything you need for your self-catering holiday.
Enjoy leisurely walks and cycles at the nearby Connemara Greenway, which is accessible at Ballynahinch (11km), or walk the nearby Inishnee Island loop walk. There are numerous trails and driving routes to explore in the region, including the well-known Roundstone Bog Road and along the Wild Atlantic Way. Sea fishing and boat tours are available locally, golf is available at the nearby Connemara Golf Links course at Ballyconneely (18km), and Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park are just a short drive away. Local activities include kayaking and paddleboarding, sea angling, lake, and river fishing, walking trails, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, boat trips and much more. This is an ideal location for exploring all that the Connemara region has to offer.

The welcoming hall leads into a light and cosy combined living space, including a dining area with table and ample dining seating for six people, and a sitting area with a large couch, armchair, and a large flat screen TV. This space is flooded with natural light and offers views on to the front of the property. The adjacent country cottage style kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric cooker, electric hob and washing machine.
The sleeping accommodation consists of three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is spacious with a super king bed and fitted wardrobes providing ample storage. Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom, whilst Bedroom 3 is a twin room. The main bathroom includes shower over bath, WC and sink. Private rear enclosed patio with furniture. Wi-fi is available. Cot and highchair are provided. Sorry, no pets. Short breaks are available. Towels and linens are provided. Parking is available for two cars. Shared driveway. Owners live on site.
A security deposit of €200 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.

Myself, my husband and 2 children stayed at the house for 4 nights in June and it was perfect for our family. Carole, the owner was wonderful to us, really friendly and helpful which we really appreciated especially woth children. Location is perfect, few min walk to the pretty village and very quiet and peaceful. Would certainly return!

We had a lovely weekend in Roundstone, and the cottage is just a few minutes walk from the famous O'Dowd's pub and seafood restaurant, where visitors order a pint and cross the road to the harbour boundary wall, where there is a a glorious view of Roundstone bay and the Connemara mountains
The lady in charge was very helpful and welcoming, and the cottage has all the basics, even an air fryer, so home catering is very doable. It's location is just up the hill from the main street, and there are fine views of the mountains from the house
Make sure you visit Gurteen beach, and the gorgeous Dog's Bay beach, which back on to each other, and offer a great beach walk and swimming place
