Tucked away in the serene hamlet of La Barre-des-Dourbes, this two-bedroom bioclimatic cottage invites you to slow down and reconnect with nature. Crafted from wood, clay, and cork, it feels alive — breathing with the landscape around it. The open-plan living area flows effortlessly onto a wide terrace where the scent of pine and the whisper of mountain winds greet you each morning. From sunrise coffee to sunset glasses of wine, the panoramic view of the Durance valley becomes your daily backdrop.

Inside, modern comfort meets natural simplicity. Two cozy bedrooms and two bathrooms ensure privacy for families or friends, while the fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining area make shared meals a pleasure. Upstairs, a rooftop terrace offers an intimate spot to stargaze or unwind under the open sky. Outside, a shared pool awaits — but with private decking on both sides, you can enjoy a peaceful swim without ever feeling crowded. Every corner of this eco-friendly retreat is designed to soothe your senses and honor the environment.

Step beyond your doorstep, and Provence reveals its wonders. Wander through lavender-scented trails, explore the charming market streets of Digne-les-Bains just 15 minutes away, or set off for a day of adventure in the UNESCO-listed Geopark of Haute-Provence.
