Green Gables Motel

The staff was friendly and welcoming It was a quick check in Beds n sheets were clean although weren’t that comfortable and gave us sore backs Toilet was leaking water on the floor 3 tubes of full shampoo would’ve been good as we only got 1 tube that was half of shampoo in it as there was 3 of us Overall cleanliness was good There was heating which was great as it was a very cold night

Quiet and comfortable in lovely country town

Room and ensuite was clean, bed was comfortable and heating good. Parking outside our room was very tight. The track leading up to the property did not have a proper sign pointing to turn in. Just a hand written one leaning against a post which we missed in the dark. When we drove up to the main building there was no sign pointing where to go in for reception. We stayed two nights but when we had our breakfast we had nothing to wash our plates with , no cloth, brush, tea towel etc and had to do them in the bathroom sink. They need to put in a shelf for the toaster and kettle as they just sat them on top of the microwave. We were comfortable here but there just needs to be a few small extras for a better stay.

Clean and quiet, and a great location
