The property is very well managed and the owner is extremely kind and considerate. The room contained all I needed and had a heated blanket which was extremely ideal in the winter.

Depending on why you are in the area dictates if the location is ok or not. It’s not in the mix of everything but the bus stop is right outside. It was not so close to my work but it was well connected by public transport and cabs are fairly cheap

Host very friendly & helpful, gave clear instructions regarding facilities and security. Excellent price for midweek. Fridge, microwave and kettle in room plus use of kitchen if required. Clean towels and toiletries available. Shared bathroom had very clean toilet and wash basin. Room upstairs at the back so not disturbed by traffic. Felt safe as a solo “older” female. Very comfortable bed with an option to plug in an electric blanket.

A bedside lamp would’ve been nice, there was a lamp high up on a shelf but too high for me to reach. Couldn’t find cutlery, mugs or plates (fortunately had my own as wasn’t sure if provided) Difficult to find the entrance but the host was on hand to give directions. Minor “niggles” that didn’t spoil an enjoyable stay.
