Comfortable, felt like home

The door outside knobs on the patio doors are corroded probably needs to be changed. I noticed the same type of corrosion on the bathroom faucets as well. There was no food on the property. Had to drive to other near by resorts to restaurants.

I loved the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of this place. Eddy is an amazing host—very helpful, kind, and attentive throughout my stay. The location is a little far from town, but with a golf cart, getting around is easy and it's actually a great way to explore the island. The room is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. The cleanliness is outstanding, and the mattress and bedding are extremely comfortable. The view is absolutely stunning and was one of my favorite parts of the experience. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

We almost didn’t book La Beliza after reading a negative review, but our experience ended up being completely different. This place is intentionally remote, and that’s really the point. It’s quiet, peaceful, and away from the busy parts of the island. You’ll need a golf cart to get to nearby restaurants or explore, but if you go in expecting that, it actually adds to the experience. Arrival was easy and well-organized. The staff helped with our bags and got us settled without any issues. There’s no big front desk setup, but that’s normal for smaller resorts like this and didn’t feel disorganized at all. The unit was exactly what we expected, clean, comfortable, and ready when we arrived. The AC worked well, which is important in Belize, and everything in the room functioned properly. We didn’t deal with any maintenance problems or room changes. The staff were consistently helpful throughout our stay. Jose in particular was quick to respond whenever we needed anything and followed through, which made a big difference. This isn’t an all-inclusive or full-service resort, so you do need to plan ahead a bit for things like groceries and transportation. Some of the negative reviews seem to come from people expecting something different. If you understand what the property offers and want a quiet beachfront stay, it’s a great choice. We’d definitely come back.
