Das Zimmer befindet sich in einer Wohnung mit insgesamt vier Gästezimmern. Das Zimmer und die Wohnung insgesamt sind hervorragend renoviert. Das Zimmer hat seitlichen Meerblick - allerdings keinen Balkon. Von allen gemeinsam benutzt werden kann die Küche, allerdings nur zum Frühstück. Hier gibt es einen Wasserkocher, eine Kaffeemaschine und einen Toaster. Jeden Morgen gibt es frisches, süßes Gebäck. Außerdem steht ein Teller mit Obst bereit. Den Kaffee und den Tee muss man selber zubereiten. In der Küche gibt es keinen Kühlschrank, wohl aber im Zimmer. Die Wohnung wird von einer Familie betreut, die sehr hilfsbereit ist. Wir bekamen jede Menge Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt.

Wir waren mit einem Mietwagen unterwegs und hatten große Mühe, das Haus, in dem sich das B&B befindet, zu finden. Der Vermieter hat uns schließlich mit einem Videocall zu dem Haus dirigiert, was sehr hilfreich war. Was wir bei der Buchung nicht gemerkt hatten war, dass sich das B&B hoch oberhalb von Salerno befindet. Traumhafter Blick ins Tal, aber hunderte von Stufen abwärts in das Zentrum der Stadt, was circa fünfzehn Minuten in Anspruch nimmt. Aufwärts sind wir die Strecke nie ganz gelaufen, weil es uns einfach zu anstrengend geworden wäre. Durch Zufall entdeckten wir einen Fahrstuhl, mit dem man zumindest einen Teil des Höhenunterschieds bewältigen kann. Am ersten Abend ließen wir uns von einem Taxi zurück ins B&B fahren, was 15,50 € kostete.

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful city of Salerno at the lovely B&B Casa Ronga. Silvio and his wife are incredibly kind people and brilliant hosts. They gave us lots of tips and are always on hand whenever you need them. The accommodation was very, very clean; the room was lovely, with a nice, new well-maintained bathroom and comfortable beds. The view from our room was breathtaking. For breakfast, there were delicious fresh pastries from the bakery and fruit every day. The coffee, which you can make yourself whenever you like, using a very good coffee machine, was delicious. You can help yourself and have breakfast whenever you want. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful accommodation with excellent hosts who put their heart and soul into what they do.

Silvio and his family have been the utmost help and hospitality , he made us feel welcomed and just like home. All the amenities were great , clean , new and a amazing view of the sea. We ran into a bit of trouble with the toll routed and he was so helpful and helped us call the ministry etc to get it sorted. All in all , it's amazing place, and he made sure of that. He also suggested lots of attractions to go to , and services so please check them out
