We are truly thankful to Bhashi, Sanju and their entire family for wholeheartedly treating us as one of their own. We spent 6 days at their wonderful home, including our most special memory: the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Not only did they creatively help us plan and arrange the activities to visit all the gems of the Cultural Triangle but they were better guides than we could have ever hoped for. After all these adventures celebrating the New Year with our new friends and family was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Bhashi and her family let us join every preparation, included us in all of their rituals, made sure we had a loving seat at their festive family table and their relatives also invited us to their homes to celebrate together. The care, harmony and love that we experienced at their families will be the best memory we take home from our 2 week Sri Lanknan trip. The beautiful 4-5 star hotels that we stayed in could never compete with this homestay and we would choose Bhashi and her family over them anytime. We will definitely return!

Ce homestay tout neuf est tenu admirablement bien par Bhashi et sa maman PradeePa. La chambre est très spacieuse, propre et très calme, tout comme la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est très complet, et les repas cuisinés par PradeePa sont aussi beaux que bons. Cette famille est très à l'écoute et nous ont aidés pour organiser nos activités et même pour prendre le Bus sur la route. Un séjour formidable que je recommande à tout le monde ! Merci pour tout !

I recently stayed at Elephant Trail Homestay, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is very clean, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The owners are extremely friendly and kind, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic homemade flavors. One of the most beautiful moments was in the morning when peacocks came near the room it was a peaceful and unforgettable experience. The hospitality of the owners is truly excellent, and their warmth made our stay even more special. I highly recommend Elephant Trail Homestay to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing place with great food and amazing hospitality.
