Welcome to The Bayshore Bungalows a peaceful hideaway tucked among palms and paperbarks in beautiful Belongil, just a short stroll from Byron Bay’s famous Belongil Beach. Set within lush tropical gardens our 14 standalone bungalows offer a simple, spacious and laid-back place to stay. This is where you can switch off, breathe in the sea air and enjoy the slower side of Byron life.



The Space:

This 2-bedroom two-storey bungalow offers a cosy retreat with both bedrooms privately tucked away upstairs. Ideal for families or friends wanting space to unwind, the ground floor living area opens to leafy garden views, while the upper level provides a peaceful place to rest. While the interiors are classic rather than modern, they’re clean, airy and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for an easy coastal getaway.

Enjoy your morning coffee on your private patio, wander to the beach for a swim, then spend the afternoon lazing by the shared swimming pool or firing up the communal BBQ.

A tennis court and tropical garden surrounds add to the relaxed holiday feel. This is Byron as it was meant to be: simple, unhurried and full of charm.

Set in the peaceful pocket of Belongil, The Bayshore Bungalows are surrounded by great local spots:

-550m to Belongil Beach

-A short walk to Habitat Byron Bay for coffee, shopping, and yoga

-Close to Elements of Byron and North Byron Hotel for great dining

-Just minutes to Byron town centre via the Byron Solar Train or car

This location strikes the perfect balance, close to everything yet calm and secluded.



Getting Around:

Most guests walk or cycle to nearby cafes and the beach. The Byron Solar Train offers a fun and sustainable way to get into town or you can drive as parking is available right outside your bungalow.

You can also hire bikes online from Byron Bay Bikes or pick one up near the Solar Train station for an easy scenic ride around Belongil and into town.



Other Things to Note:

The BBQ area, swimming pool, tennis court and laundry are all shared spaces. Please be respectful when using these spaces to keep them beautiful for everyone. The tennis racquets and balls are kept in the Laundry. Please return them all here when you're done.
