The Cape Meares beach house offered us a delightful stay. We had quite a storm hit during our stay and that added to the Oregon Coast experience! The home and kitchen were well appointed and the owners, and the location was a bit off the beaten path but that added to the charm

The location of the home is excellent .. the beach is just a few feet away… we loved it ! The sunsets were truly amazing. The key pad did not work … thankfully we had enough signal to call for assistance and were able to use a key that was on the porch that is used by the housekeeper's. The house did not have proper heating, we had to use all the portable heaters available to stay warm. I think if heating is an issue then fire wood should be supplied by the owner. The home itself could use some updates but in general it’s a great place. Lots of books for the kids to read.
