Everything! It’s 12/10 - the location, the view, and the most importantly, the host! Toto is an incredible host. He took care of us from the time when we arrived at the train station - called a taxi to pick us up and greeted us at the taxi drop-off, made restaurant reservations with the best sunset view, prepared us breakfast every morning. Nothing is too much to ask. He made our stay in Cefalu truly special! We would come back at a heartbeat

Couldn’t stay longer

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, Toto treated us like his favorite family! He escorted us to a safe place to park our car, then back to his palazzo, where he welcomed us with a lovely drink as he gave us all the information about our room and shared the very interesting history of how this place came to be. Being perched above the sea was sublime and the views were breathtaking. If the surf was too loud, then the excellent windows could be closed to ensure a quiet night for light sleepers like me. We were served a different delicious treat at breakfast each morning along with some wonderful pastries from the local bakery. Toto also offered us late afternoon pasta, but we unfortunately had to miss that as we were out enjoying Cefalu’s beautiful beaches every afternoon! But having Toto as our host was the absolute highlight. I can’t think of a host in all my years of travel that was as welcoming and fun!!

What did we like? Everything! Even a 10-star rating doesn’t feel sufficient to express how much we loved our stay here. Toto was, without question, the best host we’ve ever had—and I travel a lot! From the very beginning, Toto was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. We stayed in touch about our arrival, he arranged a taxi for us from the train station, and then personally met us to welcome us and hand over the keys. He shared one of his beautiful rooms with us, complete with an absolutely spectacular view of the sea. There were so many special touches that made our stay memorable: welcome drinks, wonderful conversations, a delicious 9:30 breakfast shared with lovely fellow travelers in the kitchen, and fresh fruit from Toto’s family farm. And then there was the incredible location—we could step right from our balcony into the sea! It truly felt like staying with a friend rather than simply staying at a B&B. We loved every minute of our time here and will absolutely return to Cefalù—and to Toto’s beautiful place!

Hosts made the our trip to Sicily very enjoyable. Very friendly and breakfast were superb nice touch. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Listening to the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks very soothing and relaxing. Great position just slightly of the town centre but a short walk to all amenities. Personally preferred Cefalu to Toarmina which was our next destination.
