Comfortable room, nice to have a mini-fridge, easy access to bathroom, characterful old house with attractive features
Smelt of stale smoke, but our room is about to be redecorated so I'm sure it will benefit from the facelift!

Very comfortable stay. Host was welcoming. Very close to shops and restaurants. Large room.
Nice to have books in the room.

Liz and Tasha were warm and friendly and communicated kindly and promptly. The bed was cozy and the room contained many lovely thoughtful conveniences. Location is a quick bus ride from the train station/downtown area or a pleasant and fairly flat-terrained half-hour's walk (on my relatively short legs lol). Water was strong and heating was reliable. Everything was clean and tidy. No heatwave that time in late August, but it could get a little stuffy in the upstairs room and the provided electric fan was a godsend.
A secure, rather than unsecured, wifi network and a bidet for the toilet(s) would have been nice. The place itself is exceedingly comfortable, but not for the unfit (as there are narrow staircases) or the dog-averse.

Location was great as just a short walk into the city. It was near Wetherspoons by the Grand Theatre, so a great start for my night out.
Shower was downstairs, but was ok.
