Nico and Simone are exceptional people and it was a privilege to meet them on our short stay. Two very positive folk. For most of the time that we were with them, there was a major power cut in the town. They went out of their way to help us. The internet continued to work and we were given hot percolated coffee in bed in the morning, despite the cut. An attractive continental breakfast was also provided.
The attitude of the owners far outweighed any little niggles we may have had. Their dogs were well behaved and unobtrusive

The room is very private with easy access from outside. It is basic yet well appointed .
The heavy manual gate is difficult and a hassle to open and close. Ladies could have a problem with it.

Breakfast was fine
Room was cramped - sleeping and kitchen all rolled into one.
Hot water took too long to heat up resulting in a lot of wasted water.
A proper braai stand that was adjustable would've made braaing easier.
