Grand Mercure Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Easy check in experience for a super short layover situation - highly recommend over staying in an airport lounge for 5 hours. Get a shower and a few hours of shuteye for about the price of one lounge ticket. Perfect for travelers.

Good for short term business travler

Fantastic airport hotel. It is clean, modern, comfortable, and extremely well run. The staff was excellent, and the airport shuttle was a huge plus. We had a 5:00 a.m. flight to Hong Kong, so staying here was a much better choice than leaving Zhuhai around 11:30 p.m. and traveling through the night. We were able to get some sleep, wake up, take the shuttle, and arrive at the airport relaxed instead of exhausted. The room was outstanding and very business-friendly. By U.S. standards, this felt like a six-star hotel. I have stayed in five-star hotels in the United States that were nowhere near as nice. Excellent value ($38/night), excellent staff, spotless room, and perfect for an early flight. I would absolutely stay here again.
