Nestled on a semi-secluded double lot just a five-minute walk from the ocean, this newly remodeled home is the perfect getaway. Whether you're looking to enjoy the beach, surf, fish, hang out on the deck or by the firepit, or simply relax on the couch with a good book, this home has it all.
This all-season retreat features a sunny, south-facing yard surrounded by trees, accessible through French doors that open onto a spacious deck with a grill for summer barbecues. During the stormy months of fall and winter, you can stay cozy by the Scandinavian stove or explore nearby hiking trails.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by an open-plan living and dining area with a thoughtfully designed kitchen, a centerpiece dining table, and a welcoming living area complete with a couch and two easy chairs. Down the hallway, you'll find two roomy bedrooms, each with a queen bed and closets, and a brand-new bathroom with a walk-in shower and natural light. Behind the linen drapes in the hallway is a new washer-dryer, and at the end of the hall, you'll have access to the one-car garage.
Perfect for couples, friends, or families who want to enjoy the proximity to the ocean while yearning for some privacy and peace, this home offers Adirondack chairs to soak up the sun outside and books and games inside. It's close to downtown Rockaway, Wheeler, Nehalem, Garibaldi, and Manzanita where you'll find great dining options, quirky shops, and friendly people if you feel like exploring. Plus there’s a jetty and two marinas close by if you want to go crabbing or pick up the local catch. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, as are families with young children. Great spot and we loved the private yard and closeness to the beach.

This was so clean and comfortable. thoughtful and well stocked. We even had chargers for our phones. Close to our favorite spots and beaches. However, I don't think that Host Details and messaging should be through another platform. Casago was listed as our main contact host. Since they did not share our checkin instructions promptly, we didn't get check in instructions until after our check in time, and had to wait on hold for almost 20 minutes until we spoke to someone. And we were further frustrated by the Casago rep. blaming VRBO. This was not a VRBO issue directly- it was cleary a Casago (third party platform issue). This was wildly inconvenient and frustrating for us, since we had been on the road all day and were hungry as well, and prepared to make our dinner ,road weary, in a home we could not enter. I suggest that VRBO not allow 3rd party platforms to be hosts so that real people that are readily available can assist with any glitches in important communications. The stay was fantastic- but it took way too long for us to access our paid time there.

We were so impressed with this house! Not only did it have everything we needed, it’s close to the beach, has perfectly updated interiors, was absolutely clean and had fabulous instructions. We loved it, we’ll be back!
