If you choose, you can spend your entire stay right at the house and enjoy unlimited amenities for all weather and interests. While we hope your stay is purely for pleasure, there also is a full size desk, chair and workstation, with stunning views of the lake, to place your laptop on to sneak in some work (not too much!) or simply surf the web to book your next stay.
Located in the private, wooded community of Towamensing Trails, guests have access to top-tier amenities including a 190-acre lake. If you choose to leave your lakefront paradise, guests also have access to a public beach for guests only, outdoor pool, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and volleyball courts, playground, and a game room. Paddle boats and watercraft can be rented in season. The community also features a seasonal snack bar, an outdoor pavilion, and a year-round lounge that occasionally hosts meals, music, and dancing. (Note: To purchase alcoholic beverages, membership in the Trails Lake & Tennis Club is required‚otherwise, BYOB.)

I stayed for just shy of a week with my eleven-year-old son, my partner, and his mother, and we all had an excellent time. As soon as you walk in the front door, you're taken aback by the beauty of the lake through the wall to (two story) ceiling windows, and the openness of the home. Grandma was thrilled for a first-floor bedroom so she could skip the stairs, and I was thrilled for a primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom so I didn't have to share with grandma or my son ;) The house had everything we needed to grill, cook, relax, and enjoy. We had arranged to have two kayaks delivered for our stay, which I highly recommend. Edmonds Outdoors LLC couldn't have been easier to work with and were familiar with the area, making it easy peezy for an out of towner. In addition to smart televisions in most rooms, there was a wealth of dvds and games. My son discovered "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," "Family Feud," and "Deal or No Deal" dvds, which made for some delightful family game nights. Stephanie, our host, was in touch as soon as I booked the stay and was available and responsive from start to finish, answering any questions and also putting me in touch with the kayak rental place. We had an absolutely magical time, and the only thing we wished for were a few extra days to escape the real world. I highly recommend this home!!

It is a beautiful home. Hope to stay there again next year! Just a few suggestions. Buy a couple of brooms, for quick clean ups. Maybe get a couple of bigger runners to help tracking in pine needles and sand. Overall, it was wonderful and relaxing. Thank you!
