Barb’s place was everything we hoped for and more - a perfect blend of modern style and peaceful desert serenity. The home is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and set on a private 2.5-acre property that feels completely secluded while still being close to Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and Pioneertown. We loved the quiet mornings, walking the property, and ending each day in the hot tub under an unbelievably star-filled sky (the telescope was such a thoughtful touch). The house was spotless and well equipped, with a great kitchen, comfortable beds, a fun game room, and a separate casita that worked perfectly for our group, plus the vintage jukebox added so much charm and character. The outdoor space truly steals the show — the pool, hammocks, fire pit, and lounge areas made it hard to leave at all. Barb was a fantastic host: responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. If you’re looking for a stylish, peaceful desert retreat with incredible views and privacy, this place is a total gem and we would absolutely stay here again.

We loved unwinding by the pool, stargazing from the spa, and taking in the sweeping desert views. The coffee and juice bar was a delightful touch each morning, and every detail felt intentional, making the space both comfortable and effortless to enjoy.Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing stay, and we’d love to return again.

We loved staying at this very welcoming retreat. The coffee bar and juicer were so well stocked. The fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning, the yummy iced coffees in the afternoon. Bright , open and airy feeling. So many options for relaxing. The new comfy lounge chairs by the pool were my favourite . In the evening we relaxed in the new hot tub and gazed at the stars. My sisters and I created so many wonderful memories together. Can’t wait to go back again…
