Our stay at Le Moulin de Saon was perfect. The property is charming, comfortable, and well-equipped. It served as a great home base for us to explore Normandy. The property is remote, which allowed us some respite from the previous busy city portion of our journey. From the property, one can hear church bells, the flow of a refreshing stream, and cows, horses, and birds. We enjoyed greeting the horses along the fence. The history of the property is interesting. And the owners have modernized it through what appears to be a careful restoration while maintaining the historic charm. The home is air conditioned which we enjoyed during our summer stay.Upon arrival, we did have to swat some flies, but once dealt with, the problem was resolved.Overall, this was our family's favorite property during our journey. The hosts were very responsive. I would highly recommend this property.
