Nestled in the rolling hills of the Marche region lies our Agriturismo Alla Vecchia Quercia. We’ve been running this special place since 1999 and have gradually transformed it into a retreat for relaxation, nature, and authentic experiences. Personal hospitality and genuine warmth are our top priorities.

The “Montaiate” vacation apartment—one of a total of eight vacation apartments on our farm—combines rustic country style with cozy living comfort. Exposed wooden beams and light-colored natural stone walls give the rooms an authentic and inviting atmosphere. The living and dining area is perfect for relaxing evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, as well as pans, pots, and dishes.

The bedroom with a double bed ensures restful nights, and the bathroom offers all the necessary amenities. Outside, you’ll find a seating area overlooking the courtyard and a grill—perfect for breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine in the evening. The seating area is shared with a neighboring apartment.

Upon request, we offer a generous breakfast buffet featuring products we make ourselves: homemade bread, jams, honey, our own sausages, and much more.

The swimming pool (5 × 10 m) is located right nearby and is available for all guests to use. In addition, there are other seating and lounging areas on the property from which you can enjoy the beautiful view and the peaceful surroundings.

Farming & Our Own Olive Oil
The farm comprises about 20 hectares of organically farmed land with olive trees, meadows, and fields. Approximately 1,400 olive trees (not all on our property) form the basis for our extra virgin olive oil. In collaboration with the Contardi oil mill, we produce high-quality extra virgin olive oil as well as our aromatic lemon olive oil.

Meadows, a vegetable garden, and fruit trees round out the farm. The farm is home to sheep, pigs, rabbits, poultry, horses, dogs, and cats. Our bees produce fine honey—direct contact with the animals is a special experience for young and old alike.

Sustainable Vacation
Sustainability is a given for us. Photovoltaic systems, solar thermal energy, and a wood-fired heating system make our operation largely CO₂-neutral. This is how we combine modern vacation comfort with a respectful approach to nature and resources.

Active & Varied Vacations Around Monte Catria

The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for active vacationers: cycling and hiking tours, horseback riding, model aircraft flying on Monte Catria, or excursions to the impressive Frasassi stalactite caves. Culture lovers can quickly reach cities like Urbino as well as the coastal towns of Fano and Senigallia.

The Marche region delights visitors with local markets, truffle specialties, excellent wines, and medieval towns., Whether it’s the antique market in Fano, the fortified town of Mondavio, or the impressive cliffs of the Conero coast—diversity is right on our doorstep.
