Hortus Hotel Tirana

Tolle Lage, sehr nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstück!

The hotel was in an excellent location a 10 minute straight walk along a nice street with cafes and shops to Skanderbeg square. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice.

Some of the finishing in the rooms was poor, the attention to detail was lacking. For example the cups by the kettle didn't match nor did the glasses. The plumbing under the sink was not attached to the wall properly (although fortunately this didn't cause a problem). The furnishing was sparse and there was only a bedside table on one side of the bed. The room was also very small. Not major issues but we couldn't really rate it higher than 8 and were surprised by it's current rating of 9.5 on Booking.com.
