Some of Tuscany\'s most beautiful cities are within easy reach. Chianti, famous for its delicious wines, is less than 1 hour from the house. A trip to one of the many vineyards for a wine tasting makes a wonderful day out.
Closer to home is the town of Loro Ciuffenna (5km), which is known as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and well worth a visit.
There are some excellent restaurants in the area, but for those who want to cook for themselves, the local markets are not to be missed. In Loro Ciuffenna (5 minutes) there is a weekly market on Tuesday mornings, where you can find the very best local produce to cook back at the villa.
Florence airport is only 40 minutes away.
