We arrived a little early to this magnificent property. We were welcomed in to the beautiful sitting room to wait for our room to be ready. Such lovely helpful staff, and so friendly and welcoming.
The room was amazing, and we also spent time in the sitting room in the evening, playing cards with the fire kindly lit for our benefit.
This is a little piece of the history, well worth a stay to experience it.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable.
Such a lovely old building, beautifully decorated.
Staff were so welcoming and friendly even built us a gorgeous fire while we relaxed and played cards.

Loved our stay! The poet’s cottage had everything we needed!

The Lawrence is so much more than a boutique hotel. It's an experience. We stayed in the annex which was amazing. The Lawrence is situated on a fairly steep incline but Derry is walkable
