The lady at the reception/cum house manager was extremely helpful. It is understandable that since she was the sole person in charge of everything, including keeping the premise safe and locked, even to venture out meant she had to be disturbed. The place has warned that no food is available, and no facilities like kettles available in the premise, so even for a cup of coffee I had to call upon the elderly person. The premise is locked by default. There is exactly one place to eat close by, a bakery, five minutes from the premise (after you are let out), but first rate, very friendly and shockingly cheap. The lady who manages the residency and the lady who manages the bakery definitely what I would remember long after the cloudy sunrise and sunset forgotten.

Already mentioned in what I liked, despite the inconvenience. The place is 2.5 to 3 km from beach (not a surprise as they are upfront about it). If you don't have a car avoid the place, the auto prices are of the take it or leave it variety. Beware of the missing tile on the bridge over the railway lines, you could seriously hurt yourself. About 2 + km to Railway station, and I walked carrying my luggage at 7 am. No auto in site, and the previous night was quoted an outrageous price for a 7 am pick up. The room was not cleaned during my stay (bin emptied etc), but understandable since managed by a single elderly person.

the place was nice and quiet, a clean and neat place and better for its cost and the host Ms. Selvi was welcoming and a great place to stay though it was for a very short time. keep up this quality of rooms.
