Really enjoyed staying in this cozy cottage in the heart of Beccles. Small but well equipped. There were condiments and oil etc in the kitchen, as well as tea, coffee and fresh milk left for us. Good wifi. Large, good shower. TV with streaming channels (though need a login). Very quiet, as down a private driveway off the road. Overall, very good value and I would definitely stay again.
Whilst I thought the bed in the main room was too soft for my taste my friend found the bed In her room really comfortable! The only other niggle was that the cottage can be quite dark and the little back yard was uninviting. There's also no washing machine, for longer stays, but not a big problem given the price.

Good for a short stay in the centre of Beccles with access to bars, restaurants and shops. Nearby riverside and country walks.
Very compact cottage with no outdoor space. Sofa and mattresses due for refresh. Parking was difficult on Saturday due to an event in town.

We loved out stay at Thyme Cottage and the location in Beccles was perfect.
Georgie was brilliant to deal with.
Loved swimming laps at the Lido just a few doors up.
We had a lovely walk along the river to the Loch Inn and back.
