A very convenient location
But they didn’t mention in their advertisement that the train goes directly by the bedroom

The apartment was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The "L" runs right next to the apartment, at eye level (for an original Chicago experience!), but we slept well and didn't even notice it at night. We had no problem walking to the apartment at night (S State St, Cermak Rd); everything is well lit and lined with small shops and restaurants. Overall, it was a great location, within easy walking distance to the McCormick Conference Center -- would stay there again.
The main entrance door to the building seems to be permanently unlocked, and it was hot and stuffy in the small entrance area (with urine smell, too!), but that dissipated once we were in the elevator.
