I honestly can’t even find the right words to describe our stay at Berry House. It was beyond superb—exceptional, unforgettable, and truly one of the most memorable experiences of our entire Korea trip! First, the house itself is AMAZING. It is incredibly clean—honestly, the cleanliness and attention to detail felt even better than what we’ve experienced at some 5-star hotels. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, there’s a washing machine, and the fridge and kitchen were stocked with complimentary drinks, water, noodles, biscuits, snacks, and other goodies. We couldn’t believe how much was prepared for us! The beds were very comfortable, with soft, clean, crisp white bedding. There are two rooms, and the space worked perfectly for our family of four adults and one 4-year-old child. The location is also very convenient, especially being close to Hongik University Station Exit 3, which made getting around Seoul so easy. But what truly made Berry House unforgettable were our wonderful hosts, Min and Soo. ❤️ They are two of the kindest, most thoughtful and gracious people we have ever met while traveling. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome. They prepared a welcome banner for our family, set up a brand-new stroller for my 4-year-old nephew, gifted him a toy car, and even gave us skincare gifts. We were already overwhelmed by their generosity, but then, on our last night, they invited us to have dinner with them! Min and Soo personally prepared delicious Korean food for our family, and sharing that meal together became one of our favorite memories from Korea. Their kindness didn’t stop there. They helped us with our luggage and even volunteered to take us to the AREX station when it was time for us to leave. These are things you simply cannot expect from a hotel—even a 5-star one.
