The natural bathing beach was extensively renovated and recultivated by the municipality of Vieregge in 2005. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the residential and water complex and can be reached on foot. Here you can enjoy a quiet swim in the well-tempered and gently sloping Bodden waters. The beach is sampled every 14 days during the bathing season by the Amt West-Rügen. On the bathing water map of the island of Rügen, this beach is labelled 'very good'. Two 17th century box chairs and the stone epitaph 'Usedom' are very interesting contemporary witnesses to the church's history. An estate complex, built at the end of the 19th century, is known to art lovers as the Liddow Cultural Estate.
