There are shops in Tenero or Gordola, around ten minutes away by car, and Locarno and the lakeshore can be reached just as quickly. The more adventurous can hike across the "Ponte Tibetano" suspension bridge, swim at the "Ponte dei Salti" Roman bridge or try the famous bungee jump at the Verzasca dam.
