Thambapanni Villa

The property we stated in, Thambapanni villa, was very peaceful, especially if you are going with family members and a cat. The one plus poiny about the place was that we were allowed to take our cat and its very hard to find places were pets are allowed. They took us to their other property, Thaproban Pavillion Resort & Spa, to let us use the pool whenever we wanted. The view from that place was very beautiful and mesmerizing. Food was given to us from another property, Thaproban Beach House, in which they gave us free transportation. Food was absolutely delectable and I love how the chef made food for us that was out of the menu, on request. The rooms and toilets were clean with all the necessities we could possibly need. They provided us with transportation to take us on a tour to the tea factory, turtle hatchery and to galle fort. All the staff members; the driver, the housekeeper, the waiters, the chef and the managers, were all very kind hearted, friendly and they were always there to help when in need of anything. In our 12 years in Sri Lanka we have been to many places, and so far we have never gotten such high standard services like from the Thambapanni villa, Thaproban Pavillion Resort & Spa and Thaproban Beach House staff members. We are very thankful for them and we will definitely go back to spend our time in the Thambapanni and Thaproban properties.

There was anything that displeased us.

The overall atmosphere. An amazing garden felt so relaxed from the time I arrived. The staff were excellent helping me and my family for everything.

The kitchen was not very up to date but useable

Thambapanni Villa is a beautiful, peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more special. The location is great—close to Unawatuna beach yet tucked away enough to feel calm and private. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike.
