Derwent Hotel

We stayed for one night as we were in Blackpool for Kings & Queens of Rock ’n’ Roll at Central Pier, and overall we had a really enjoyable stay. I was expecting breakfast at the hotel, but that was completely my fault as I hadn’t checked the listing properly and it doesn’t actually advertise breakfast. It wasn’t an issue at all though, as there are plenty of cafés within less than a 5 minute walk. We loved the pool table, it’s a great little extra and made the stay feel more enjoyable. We came as a couple, but seeing the size and layout of the place, I think it would work really well for groups too. We’re actually considering coming back with the lads for a stag do next month! The hotel was very clean, and the staff were really friendly and responsive whenever we needed anything. Overall, we’d definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back again. Hopefully see you again soon!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great and the hotel was really clean and comfortable. What I really liked was the communication throughout our stay. You kept messaging to check how our day was going and making sure everything was okay, which made us feel really comfortable and relaxed. Even though it’s an unmanned hotel, it honestly felt like someone was there looking after us. Everything was really easy from start to finish and we had a great stay. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone!

Absolutely exceptional stay! We booked very last minute, and the whole process was incredibly easy. We were able to book almost instantly, and having the access code sent straight to my phone made checking in completely hassle free. The room was spotlessly clean and really well presented. The communication throughout was fantastic too we always felt like someone was available if we needed anything, which made the whole stay feel really comfortable. It was the perfect last minute escape. We also loved the pool table, which was a great little extra and perfect for a game in the morning! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
