La Finestra sul Borgo

Super netter Gastgeber, der mich erfolgreich zu einem authentischen Restaurant in der Nähe vermittelte, wo ich ausgesprochen nett empfangen wurde. So stellt man sich einen Urlaub in Italien vor. Brandneues BnB, sehr gelungen, hübsch gemacht und praktisch eingerichtet, Lage direkt an sehenswerten Sehenswürdigkeiten in einem schmucken Städtchen. Ganz vorbildlich: WLAN über QR-Code, super stabil und schnell. Steckdosen aller Art direkt an den Kopfenden des Bettes, so stellt man sich das vor. Schnuckliges Badezimmer, alles neu auch da. Wasserdruck der Dusche ok. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank. Prima Bett, ich konnte wunderbar schlafen. Und ich durfte mein Fahrrad in den Flur stellen, zu einem anderen Rad.

Die Sehenswürdigkeiten werden momentan wiederhergestellt, ab morgens hat man deshalb eine recht dynamische Bautätigkeit ums Gebäude herum. Es gibt eine kleine Kaffeemaschine, die sehr guten Kaffee und Tee macht, allerdings gelang es mir nicht, sie wirklich souverän zu bedienen. Mein Tipp dazu: eine Kopie der Gebrauchsanweisung dazulegen. Am Schreibtisch wären Steckdosen sehr praktisch. Ein kleiner Wasserkocher wäre auch toll. Es gibt einen Schrank mit Bügeln, aber leider keine Haken an den Wänden. Ich bin ja ein Fan von Haken. Und ein großer Spiegel im Zimmer wäre toll.

And then there are the hosts, Carmelo and Ana, who are simply wonderful. They are generous with their time both before and throughout your stay and go far beyond what you’d expect from hosts. Carmelo’s love for Accadia is obvious, and he is genuinely happy to share his knowledge, history, and stories of the village—while also being there to answer every hospitality question you can possibly throw his way. The people of Accadia are equally warm and welcoming, and a visit to Il Melograno is an absolute must. La Finestra sul Borgo is located right next to the clock tower, so you can simply step outside and wander through the village, taking in its beauty and the surrounding hills. There is something incredibly special about being able to walk out your door and immediately feel connected to the place you’re visiting. I cannot recommend this stay enough. In fact, I’m already planning my return trip—with my husband this time! He’s a cyclist, so I’m already picturing him spending the day exploring the beautiful Puglia countryside and then coming back to this wonderful little spot for a great night’s sleep. Das B&B Zimmer liegt wunderschön und ruhig gelegen am Rande der kleinen Ortschaft und hat einen eigenen Eingang. Die Kommunikation war super und wir wurden bei dee Ankunft herzlich willkommen geheissen. Auch unsere Fahrräder konnten wir direkt im Gebäude sicher anstellen. Das Frühstück entspricht italienischen Standards. Für den grossen Hunger sollte man am besten im Supermarkt vorsorgen. Wir können die Unterkunft jederzeit empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

A comfortable appartment with some nice design and a few funny objects in it that I could appreciate. The staff was friendly and co-operative. It was no problem that I came with a e-bike. It was put in safe place where I was immediately offered the use of a power connector.
