Comfortable and great location.

Excellent communication with host, great location for downtown, next to Citidel and on street parkinkg (need to purchase permit). Good size with everything you need, coffee machine, washer drier

A few minor niggles, the appartment is up two flights of fairly steep stairs, the ventillation system is a little noisy and we couldnt turn off. No drawers in the bedroom to put clothing (but the bed was largecand very comfortable!). Some instructions in the apartment would be useful, for example how to separate rubbish, where the bins are, parking permit requirments and most importantly NOT to park outside on a Friday night as they clean the streets and if you park there you get a $25 fine!

My friend and I were originally looking for a hotel somewhere near the waterfront and this came up. Once I saw it was a two-bedroom apartment I thought bonus! The place was a few blocks away from the waterfront but there is some really good restaurants real close by which made up for that. We still walked to the waterfront after dinner so while it's not terribly far, it's not exactly right next door. Overall, the apartment was awesome, we weren't expecting to have a well-stocked kitchen, everything looked fairly recently renovated and I would love to stay here again.

I can only nitpick about the parking but most cities you have to pay one way or the other.

Aesthetic of the outside and interior of unit. Natural lighting / large windows. Walkability of neighbourhood. Action of the host responding to complaints.

Communication with host and their cleaner upon our agreed early check in. Cleanliness of bedding (musty, unpleasant smell) and some aspects of the unit. Unit door code/lock did not work, had to organize with host to have it fixed during our stay (not beforehand). Unit was not ready at check in time, cleaners were still there. Mattress was stained. Very small bathroom sink. No lighting at night for backdoor entrance we had to use due to keypad not working. Slightly sketchy neighbour + night time.
