Basudara House Ubud

This was definitely the best place we stayed during our trip to Indonesia. Surprisingly, it was also one of the most affordable, but offered the best service. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything exceeded our expectations. Amazing value for money!

The reviews of this homestay are really TRUE! We've stayed here for 2 nights and it was money well spent! Wira and Putu accomodated us above and beyond their way. To give you an example, we had the Mt. Batur Sunrise tour which required us to wake up at 2am. He then woke up before 2am just to make breakfast for us before heading out. This tells you what kind of hospitality they provide!!

I had the most incredible 5-night stay in Ubud at Basudara House. It is run by the amazing Wira and Putu, who made every single aspect of the stay absolutely perfect! Nothing is too much trouble for them and you have absolutely everything you need - safe, hairdryer, toiletries etc, and the bed is really comfortable. The room is also extremely spacious and you get breakfast served on your balcony every morning at a time of your choice. The location of Basudara House is perfect, and only a 2-minute walk to the main street in Ubud. You cannot put into words how magical this place is and how accommodating and kind the hosts are. If I come back to Ubud I will definitely be staying here.
