The apartment is very central, its opposite the Church in Menaggio. There are many restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. The ferry is less than 10 minutes walk, with boats to Bellagio, Varenna and many other locations around Lake Como. Buses, are plentiful and cheap. There is a Conad supermarket 5 minutes from the apartment.
The electricity went off suddenly for almost a whole day. We were not able to contact the hosts. It came back in the evening, but it was unsettling as we not sure why this happened. We were told the owner would come and have a look, but we didn't see him.

Excellent location, walking distance to ferry, public transportation, shopping, restaurants. The room have air conditioning. Host is very responsive. Instructions are clear.
Wash machine has no dryer. The towels should be replaced. They are too old. One of the bath towels has yellow stains all over, it looks like a painting rags. (Didn’t use it, used the hair towel instead for a five-day stay).

Great location. Pleasant and safe. Could have been perfect but not…
No AC. Hot. Uncomfortable sleeping due to the owner gating the AC. Very Poor response from management. Deceived and dishonest. Unacceptable. Completely. Also, no parking on or near the location.
