El Refugio was an excellent stay for us. It felt like we were a guest in someone's home rather than a Hotel. Everything was very clean and organized, the owners were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to another stay at El Refugio.
The only thing I can say may be a challenge for some is that, because it does have a home feel to it, you have to ring a bell to be let in, especially at night. For us this was not a huge problem. We felt very safe and secure at all times. Lovely place!
