Bay View Porlock Bed & Breakfast

Ruth was a lovely host and a very kind lady who made us feel very welcome. Our room was beautiful with lovely views looking over the sea and a fantastic shower. Breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from and again lovely views to enjoy while eating breakfast.

Nothing to dislike

Es war ein einzigartiger Aufenthalt. Wir hatten noch nie eine so herzliche, grosszügige und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Bei Ruth fühlt man sich gleich wie zu Hause. Egal ob Zimmer-Ausstattung, Frühstück oder Abendessen-Empfehlungen, Ruth holt die beste Möglichkeit aus allem heraus. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan länger geblieben sind und so auch die anderen Zimmer geniessen konnten und jedes Zimmer hat etwas tolles für sich. Man hat Meerblick oder ein riesiges Badezimmer und diese sind alle einfach sensationell ausgestattet und sehr ästhetisch eingerichtet. Ich freue mich schon, wenn wir Ruth und Phil (ihren hübschen schwarzen Kater) wieder einmal besuchen können.

We had a fantastic stay at Bay View Porlock Bed & Breakfast. Our room had a breathtaking coast view that made our morning special. The room is well equipped and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. Ruth is a truly exceptional host, incredibly warm, generous, and always ready to help with local tips. Her freshly prepared English breakfast was delicious and left absolutely nothing to be desired! The location is ideal for anyone hiking the South West Coast Path searching for relaxation after a day on the trail. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would love to return!

Lovely breakfast. Continental breakfast with yoghurt, fresh fruit, juice and pastries were available. A pre-ordered English cooked breakfast was served with sausage, egg, beans, hash brownie, tomato, mushrooms, toast with a choice of Tea and Coffee, Snacks and drinks were left in the fridge in the bedroom.
