Good hotel, basic, clean, big rooms, comfortable beds, very kind desk staf, good brekfast, very very very good location.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Location and Excellent Service We had a very pleasant stay at Catalonia Vondel Amsterdam. When we first checked in, we were a little disappointed because our room was located in the basement. The room had limited ventilation, and we could hear people outside on the street talking and smoking, which made the first night less comfortable than we expected. However, the next day we spoke with the front desk, and Julio Cesar was incredibly helpful and understanding. He kindly arranged for us to move to a room on the fourth floor with large windows and a lovely street view. This made such a big difference and really improved our stay. We truly appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is in a beautiful and convenient area of Amsterdam, close to many attractions, restaurants, cafés, and public transportation. We especially enjoyed being able to walk around the neighborhood and easily explore the city. The location was perfect for our Amsterdam sightseeing and photography. Overall, we are very happy with our stay. A special thank you to Julio Cesar for making sure we were comfortable and helping turn our experience into a memorable one. His excellent customer service really stood out to us. We would definitely consider staying at Catalonia Vondel Amsterdam again on our next visit to Amsterdam!

⭐️⭐️ Disappointing First Night I booked this hotel almost a year in advance, so I was very surprised to be given a basement room on our first night. This was my first experience staying in a hotel basement. The room had poor ventilation, and we could hear people outside talking and smoking. Thankfully, Julio Cesar at the front desk was very helpful and moved us to a fourth-floor room with large windows the next day. I truly appreciated his excellent service. However, I was still disappointed that our initial room was a basement room despite booking so far in advance.

Room 401 was great Real pressed orange juice !!

It was not clean, there were moths in the room, TV did not work and the room had a bad smell.
