Located walking distance from Mission Ranch Restaurant, Carmel River Beach and the Carmel Mission Trail System. Near nature destinations like Point Lobos State Reserve and beaches, along with conveniences like the Crossroads and Barnyard Shopping Centers.
This comfortable, spacious 2,883 sf, 5 bedroom, 4 bath Carmel-by-the-Sea home sits on a large, nicely landscaped lot and is great for family gatherings! The unique layout includes a detached guest house and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces with decks for dining, grilling and relaxing.
Living Spaces
Enter the main level into a carpeted formal living room with high ceilings, gas fireplace and sliding doors that open to the back deck. The separate family room has a wood burning fireplace (with gas starter), TV, and door that leads out to a small front stone patio.
Kitchen and Dining
Whether entertaining outside or inside, enjoy cooking in the gourmet kitchen with granite counters, Subzero refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, microwave and double ovens. The adjoining breakfast nook has counter seating, a table for 3-4 and a built-in desktop.
The formal dining room has seating for 8 and sliding doors that open to the back deck.
The back deck has an outdoor wood burning fireplace and teak patio furniture.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Upstairs Bedrooms:
Bedroom #1 has a king bed with a wood burning fireplace, walk-in closet, private balcony and an en suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, separate shower and double sinks.
Bedroom #2 has two twin beds and a small deck.
The spacious full hall bathroom on this level has a standing shower.
Bedroom #3 doubles as an office space with a desk and a twin day bed with optional twin pull-out trundle.
Downstairs Bedroom:
Bedroom #4 has a queen bed.
The full hall bathroom on this level has a shower-over-tub combination.
Bedroom #5 is in the detached guest house which has a vaulted ceiling, tiled floor, a queen bed, TV, small seating area, wet bar with a small sink and under counter refrigerator, and a private bathroom with a shower-over-tub combination.
Washer and dryer.

Single car garage and parking in driveway for one additional car.

This house has a very homey, comfortable feel; all the rooms are spacious and well furnished. It's easy walking distance to downtown, the ocean, and the Carmel Mission. The home was very clean with a few extra welcoming touches: beautiful orchid plants in the kitchen/family room area and master bath, a lovely potted plant on the outside patio table with chair cushions in place, and a complimentary bottle of wine with crackers and cheese in the kitchen area on your arrival. There are many delicious restaurants in walking and driving distance as well. I would advise that the picture attached is a bit outdated as the large tree branch now hangs over the driveway and it can limit access to the garage, and/or parking on the driveway, for some vehicles. The owners, as well as the property management staff, are very easy to work with and did all they could to make our visit comfortable and relaxing. All in all, we would highly recommend this very welcoming vacation home, and we look forward to many, many more visits there!
