Visitor’s Tax/Overnight Stay Tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Our “Backbord” vacation apartment is located directly on the Old Harbor, adjacent to the historic old town center. The train station and bus station are about a 3-minute walk away; a bus stop is just a few steps away, and Wismar’s market square is only 5 minutes away. For local delicacies, there are restaurants and pubs, as well as the brewery, in the neighborhood. The island of Poel, with its beautiful beaches, and other interesting destinations in the area are also quickly accessible by boat and bus.
