A trip to Mumbles, 9¾ miles, is not to be missed complete with light house, Mumbles pier and a lifeboat station. Swansea is a short drive away, 12 miles, with a plethora of restaurants, markets and marina. Within an hours’ drive and well worth a visit is the lively capital city of Cardiff, with its National Museum of Wales at St Fagans, as well as the Cardiff Bay area.
