Summary:
I think you are just going to love my apartment. The space features wonderful large street level windows in the living room and has all of the quirky charm that vintage buildings offer up. The location literally can't be beat, with the apartment a ten minute walk from Wrigley Field, the bustling Southport shopping corridor, and both the red line and brown line subway stations. There is no parking available with the apartment.
The Space:
I've used my years of experience as a superhost and designer to set up this unique flat so that it includes all the comforts of home while embracing the quirky charm that only a vintage building can offer.
A couple of friendly but important notes about my flat:
1) Because my flat is located in a 100+ year-old urban building on the ground floor, you may occasionally find an errant cobweb or two, in spite of my hardworking staff's best efforts. They clean the flat several times a week but you may still see the work of an enterprising critter pop up during your stay.
2) Please also note that because the building is vintage, you will hear some noise from my upstairs neighbors and occasionally from passersby's.
3) It is very possible that you will hear noise from above the unit. There is nothing I am able to do to prevent the noise.
LOCATION
Although shops and restaurants are only a short walk away, the area feels peaceful and secluded. Because of my flat's central location, I recommend leaving your car at home. Any point of interest in Chicago can easily be reached by walking, public transit, or Uber.
A few local highlights:
Wrigley Field & Wrigleyville → 6-min walk.
Southport Corridor → 2-min walk.
Music Box Theater → 4-min walk.
Metro Theatre → 5-min walk.
Boystown → 15-min via walking or public transit. Lakefront Trail & Belmont Harbor → 15 min via public transit or 7-minute drive.
Lincoln Park Zoo → 22 min via public transit or 12-min drive.
Downtown → 26 min via public transit or 16-min drive.
Transportation:
Southport 'L' train stop (Brown line) → 10-min walk.
Addison 'L' train stop (Red/Brown lines) → 12-min walk.
O'Hare → 50 min via public transit or ~35 min drive.

Parking isn't included and the streets around us are all either permitted (local residents only) or metered, so make sure not to use those spots. When parking, be sure to check all signs nearby because it's easy to get a ticket when parking rules are broken. For the easiest parking, we highly recommend using a service called SpotHero to reserve a spot nearby before you arrive.

The entire flat is yours. If you smoke we ask that you go off if the property (not outside of the back door).

This place was perfect. It was exactly what I needed for a long weekend in Chicago, I was able to walk to Wrigley Field and it was close to a grocery store and restaurants. Neighborhood felt very safe and very family friendly. I would highly recommend this property for a couple or a person traveling alone. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
