The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of guests, visitors to the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Welcome to our new “Land - Appartement Alter Holzhafen” in Wismar

Here, our vacation guests have access to 4 new, state-of-the-art vacation apartments with a living area of 46 m², accommodating 2–4 people of all ages. The high level of comfort and cozy furnishings, in particular, ensure an outstanding sense of well-being. The bright, welcoming rooms provide a pleasant atmosphere and are themed to reflect the maritime charm of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. Each apartment includes a free parking space right next to the building. A flat-rate Wi-Fi connection is also available to you free of charge.
The old harbor of Wismar, with its restaurants and shops perfect for strolling, is just a few minutes’ walk away. The historic market square and the four Gothic churches are about a 12-minute walk away.
For example, take a harbor tour or a short trip on one of the excursion boats to the nearby island of Poel; or, in just a few minutes’ walk through the Wassertor, reach the bar district on the Lohberg or Wismar’s historic old town with its Gothic quarter, which has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002. Outside the Hanseatic city, there are many great beaches within a 15-minute drive.
