Tourist tax/overnight stay tax for the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the total cost of the booked accommodations. This tax is not included in the total cost and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar are not issued a visitor’s card.

The vacation rental is located in the southern part of the Hanseatic City of Wismar. This neighborhood, characterized by old, lovingly restored city villas, borders the historic old town of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The market square, one of the largest in northern Germany, is about a 10-minute walk away. Likewise, many sights in the picturesque Old Town—such as the Wasserkunst, St. Georgen Church, Fürstenhof, and the old harbor—can be explored on foot.
There are plenty of opportunities for walks and bike rides in and around Wismar.
Thanks to Wismar’s central location, the beaches of Wohlenberger Wiek and the island of Poel, the cities of Rostock, Lübeck, and Schwerin, as well as the surrounding castles and manor houses with their diverse culinary and cultural offerings, are all well worth a visit.

The vacation apartment on the 2nd floor, with a separate entrance and staircase, is approximately 90 m² in size and comprises a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
The non-smoking apartment is heated year-round.
