Red Lion Inn & Suites Kansas City

Breakfast lounge is really nice.

Everything is perfect except for the smell from previous guest

The room itself was so-so. It had an odd smell -- but you got used to it quickly. The door to the bathroom was beat up since it was hard to close and open, so it left a lot of paint scraped off which was visually unappealing. However, the room was clean and had the basic and useful utilities like a coffee maker, fridge, shampoo/body wash, and hair dryer. The air conditioning worked great. THE BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME!!! As far as free breakfast goes, this was top-tier. The dining space was nice and clean. The workers were on top of keeping things refilled and warmed/chilled. Their selection was great! There were various breakfast foods and drinks to choose from. It was definitely the best part of this stay. Overall, this is a good hotel to stay at if you just need a place to stay overnight in the Kansas City area. We (like many other guests) were there for a World Cup game so we were in and out -- and it was a good experience overall:-)

It’s a very nice place to stay ..
